I made this Sangria last week in both red and white for bunko. I served the sangria in mason jars with paper straws from HeyYoYo.
Super Fruity Sangria (adapted from the recipe here)
- 1 bottle of your favorite red or white wine (I used Trader Joe's Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet)
- 2 lemons
- 2 limes
- 2 oranges
- 1 peach (our Publix didn't have any peaches, so I just used frozen ones)
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup lemonade/limeade
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 shots Cointreau (or you can use apricot, peach, or berry brandy)
- 2 cups ginger ale
- optional: one can of diced pineapple pieces with juice
Pour wine in a pitcher and squeeze the juice from one lemon, one lime, and one orange. Cut the other lime, lemon, and orange into wedges and toss into the pitcher with sliced peaches, strawberries, lemonade/limeade, Cointreau, and sugar. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale and ice right before serving!
Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

White WIne Citrus Sangria
I figured since in was Friday, I would post a cocktail recipe.
I have been looking and looking for a white sangria recipe that didn't take too many ingredients. I finally found this one on the Good Things Catered blog. I fixed this for the Ga/Fla game because I had some white wine I needed to get rid of. I didn't actually taste this recipe, but it was all gone by the end of the night, so it must have been good!

White Wine Citrus Sangria
- 2 large oranges
- 1 lemon
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 Tbsp. Cointreau
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of fruity white wine, chilled
Juice one orange thoroughly and add to large pitcher. Juice half of lemon and half of line and also add to pitcher. Slice remaining citrus and set aside. Add sugar and Cointreau to pitcher and stir to thoroughly combine and dissolve sugar. Add wine and citrus slices and stir to combine. Place in fridge for at least two hours and up to ten. When ready to serve, remove from fridge, add ice, stir to combine, and serve!

This is a picture from Good Things Catered. I wish I had taken a picture because the pitcher was so pretty with all of the fruit!
