Friday night, Davis and I drove out to Cane Mill Plantation to enjoy A Wild Affair benefitting the
Flint RiverQuarium. When we walked in the door, they served us a signature drink of sweet tea, lemonade, and vodka. It was so good! After cocktail hour, we enjoyed a unique cuisine, including black bean crusted catfish and mini bison burgers, among other items under huge oak trees dressed with lighted lanterns. After dinner, there was a live auction with some great items, even though we didn't end up with anything!
On Saturday, Davis and I attended Meghan and Andy's wedding. The reception was mid afternoon, so they served finger sandwiches with chicken salad and pimento cheese (yum!) and a variety of pies and cheesecakes along with the wedding cake. Some friends of Andy's mom did the flowers, and they were beautiful! It was so nice and Meghan was a beautiful bride!

The cake on the left is Meghan's gluten free cake! |

How cute is this little flower girl? Once she walked down the aisle, she rang a bell and shouted "Here comes the bride!" |
