A Few Last Minute Touches

I have been working so hard to get my house finished before Christmas! It seems like I am working up until the last minute! I just think of/get new ideas that I want to try! If you missed what the rest of my house looks like, click here.

In my pots outside, I put some greenery under the topiaries.

Davis and I went to Lowe's to finally purchase some new carpet (After 4 1/2 years in this house, it was time to replace since it hasn't been replaced since the house was built). Davis saw this little tree and fell in love with it. He put the lights on all by himself, and we bought some linen fabric to use as a tree skirt. He is so cute about it-he makes sure he turns it on every night!

I bought these wreaths at the Paul Eames Christmas Tree lot and tied them up with a little fishing line and covered it up with ribbon.

I ordered this little lighted tree from Battery Operated Candles and decorated it with little ornaments from Target. I painted a terra cotta pot gold, filled the pot with a little oasis, and covered it up with moss.

In my bedroom, I added a few lights to my metal Christmas tree. It gives a nice glow to the room!

Hopefully this is all that I will do this year! I certainly shouldn't have to buy much next year except our tree and a few wreaths! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
