White WIne Citrus Sangria

I figured since in was Friday, I would post a cocktail recipe.

I have been looking and looking for a white sangria recipe that didn't take too many ingredients. I finally found this one on the Good Things Catered blog. I fixed this for the Ga/Fla game because I had some white wine I needed to get rid of. I didn't actually taste this recipe, but it was all gone by the end of the night, so it must have been good!

This is a picture from Good Things Catered. I wish I had taken a picture because the pitcher was so pretty with all of the fruit!

White Wine Citrus Sangria
- 2 large oranges
- 1 lemon
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 Tbsp. Cointreau
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of fruity white wine, chilled

Juice one orange thoroughly and add to large pitcher. Juice half of lemon and half of line and also add to pitcher. Slice remaining citrus and set aside. Add sugar and Cointreau to pitcher and stir to thoroughly combine and dissolve sugar. Add wine and citrus slices and stir to combine. Place in fridge for at least two hours and up to ten. When ready to serve, remove from fridge, add ice, stir to combine, and serve!

  1. Jill I am so glad you found a good White Sangria recipe - I have always wanted to make it b/c it is my favorite drink. I think back to Glenn's engagement party that we hosted back in '06 and how much we loved the white sangria! Whenever I get married, I will be serving it as a signature drink!!
