Awhile back, I heard the Lily Pad was having a fundraiser called Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. The Lily Pad is the sexual assault and children's advocacy center in Dougherty County. One of our friends, Allan Willcox decided to do it, and I really wanted Davis to participate too! I thought I would really have to twist his arm to do it, but when I mentioned the race, he was very willing to do it! I was thrilled! I didn't think there would be many men who would participate, but there were almost 100! It was a lot of fun!
I am so proud of Davis-he ran most of the way! He was probably one of the top 10 to finish. I can't say that I could run or even walk a mile in heels!
(You can tell he was in pain by the time he finished!)
