Meredith's Bachelorette Weekend

What a fun weekend!

Hollie, Maggie, and Renee came down to Albany Wednesday night, so we got an early start on Thursday. We wanted to get in the sun as much as possible! Mission Accomplished! We could not have had more beautiful weather while we were there!

Maggie let us stay in her fabulous condo in Blue Mountain at Bella Vita. On Thursday, the five of us at the fun of the pool to ourselves. It was so nice! That night, we met Maggie's mom and sister, Abbye, at the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. I had the baked eggplant filled with squash, zucchini, shrimp, and scallops. YUM! Then we headed out to Bud and Alley's for a drink before the other girls arrived. We had good intentions of staying up and visiting with the other girls when they got there, but as soon as we got home, we crashed! The sun certainly drained us!

Friday, we got up and we are the pool before 10:30 am! All of us got lots of sun, and we stayed out there as long as possible. Before we left for our big night in Baytowne, all of us girls showered Meredith with lots of cute lingerie! Then, our limo picked us up for a night on the town! First, we ate at Marlin Grill. All of the food was amazing, but our waiter was not so amazing. Needless to say, we were glad to finish up there and enjoy the rest of Baytowne. All of us headed to Fat Tuesday's. We wanted to get Meredith the strongest drink we could, and I think we succeeded with a 190 Octane with an extra BAM on top! Meredith was such a good sport the whole time! We can her cards with certain tasks to do, and she did every one of them! Next, we went back to Bud and Alley's in Seaside for some dancing. They had one entertaining DJ! She certainly loved her job!

Saturday, started off the same, with some sun. Hollie, Meghan, and I took a long walk on the beach! It was so pretty! I don't think I have ever had so much nice weather! That afternoon, we went into Destin to Tabu Dance and Vertical Fitness. Meredith even snagged some free shoes that I know she will wear all the time! HA! I don't know if I have laughed that hard in a really long time! We had a good time! Afterwards, it was back to Bud and Alley's for the third night in a row. Another good meal! We stayed and danced to the live band to finish off our fun weekend!

It was so good to see all of my best friends. It is so hard to imagine that we have been such good friends for almost 8 years! I love you all and had so much fun!!
