November Birchbox

This weekend, I received my first Birchbox! I have been anxiously awaiting it for almost a month! It may sound a little ridiculous to pay for samples, but when you live in a small town, it is a good way to try new products that I normally wouldn't have even heard of! Every month you receive 4 - 5 products, and every time you leave feedback on an item in your box, you receive points toward $10 to use on any product. And for the month after you receive your box, you get free shipping on the items included in your box.

Anyways, here is my first Birchbox:

In the box, they include a card describing all of the products you received. November is the Getting Gifty box. It includes items that would be great gifts.

Here were my items:
1. Jouer - Lip Enhancer - This best seller hydrates, plumps, and conditions lips. We're hooked and we're betting you will be, too! It really does feel amazing, and we will see if it conditions these dry lips during the winter!

2. kate spade new york - Twirl - Classic beauty lovers adore this flirty scent, which is a fresh update on a timeless fruity floral. This fragrance smells really nice, but I don't wear perfume. I have a sample if anyone would like to try it!

3. Thymes - Eucalyptus Body Lotion - Put this one on your wish list: skin-saving botanicals and shea butter combine in a luxurious lotion. The lotion feels great, but the Eucalyptus is overpowering to me. A little goes a long way! They also included a sample of the Kimono Rose scented lotion, but I haven't tried it yet! This sample is huge compared to normal sample sizes - perfect for traveling!

4. Zoya - Nail Polish in Noel - This shimmery denim shade from Zoy'a holiday 2011 collection fits just right - just like your favorite blue jeans. I really like this polish. It hasn't chipped yet on my fingernails, which usually happens pretty quickly on my nails!

Treat - Alex & Isabelle - Classic Hair Ties - No more snags and crimps! These colorful elastics are a step up from the regular ol' hair bands. These really do not leave crimps in your hair. I had one in for several hours, and I was shocked when I took it out! It also held while I was working out! They are much pricier than regular hair bands, so I'm not sure I would purchase.

Overall, I loved my first Birchbox! I'm already excited about my next one! I think it is totally worth the $10 a month! If you are interested in signing up, click here.
