Riley

Last Friday, Davis, Sullivan, and I jumped in the car and headed to South Carolina to pick up our new dog, Riley. Davis really wanted some kind of terrier. He did lots of research and decided he wanted an Irish Terrier. The closest ones available were in South Carolina so that's where we went!

We played with two females and decided on Riley! Her name was actually Bar-B-Que, but we quickly changed that one! Here are some pictures the breeder had. I can't seem to keep her still enough to get any good pictures!

After getting Riley, the four of us drove to Athens. Sullivan loved her from the minute we got in the car with her (however, since she has come out of her shell, he doesn't want a whole lot to do with her, but Stella does so don't worry she has a playmate!)

We didn't want to be in the car all day so we decided to take a pit stop and spent the night at the Hotel Indigo. We decided to stay here since they didn't have a weight limit for dogs so we could take Sullivan! He loved the hotel life! He looked out the window and loved the plush beds! And Riley liked their shag rug! We ate at Porterhouse Grille and 5 Star Day Cafe while we were there since they had outdoor seating. Davis and I planned on walking around downtown both Friday night and Saturday morning, but Athens was far too hot! We thought since we were going a little north, it would be a tad bit cooler, but we were wrong! But, Davis and I had a great time with our pups reminiscing about our awesome college days! I have a good feeling we will be back in the fall when the weather is cooler!
