On Tuesday of last week, we celebrated Gil's 17th birthday. I CANNOT believe he is already 17 and he will be a senior next year! Time sure does fly by!
Last Wednesday started my weekend of eating, traveling, and seeing friends.
Kim and I met
Maggie in Cordele at
Daphne's Lodge. It was so great to see her and catch up!
Also, on Wednesday, we showed our house for the first time. I have to admit, I was freaking out! I was so nervous that the lookers wouldn't like our house! The feedback from the potential buyers was that they liked the house and thought it was nice and pretty, but it was priced a little too high for them. I will take that feedback any day!
On Thursday, Kim, Leann, and I packed up and drove to Atlanta to hit up Scott's on Friday. We were able to catch up with Hollie that night at
Bocado. Us girls sat outside on their patio and chatted until after 11! The food and the atmosphere were so good! I highly recommend the ahi tuna blt and the banana rum cake!
On Friday, we got up early to get to
Scott's right after it opened. Scott's can be so overwhelming because there is so much to see, but there are so many interesting things to look at! Here are some things I loved or thought were unique. Sadly, I didn't come home with one thing, but I had fun shopping! Kim, on the other hand, came home with a car load, and I can't wait to see the purchases in her house!

Loved this coffee table, but it was so large! It would look great at the lake! |

Kim's new mirror for her foyer! |
 |
Never would have thought twice about this chair without seeing Hollie's post. |
 |
I would have purchased this mirror if only it had fit in Kim's car! |
 |
I would love to have bought this for the lake! |
 |
Kim really wanted these Foo Dogs! |

After a fun, but exhausting day, we finally arrived home, and Davis and I grabbed a late dinner at
Henry Campbell's. We haven't eaten there in so long, and I was having a huge craving! They have changed the menu, so we just shared a few appetizers as our meal. They were all wonderful!
While Davis and Nick fished on Saturday, I had a day of relaxation to recover from our busy Friday. That night, Davis and I went to see
Bridesmaids. HILARIOUS! At one point, I was crying, I was laughing so hard!
Hope everyone had a great weekend too!
so fun! I still have not been to Scott's but I'm dying to go! Thanks for sharing :) Sad I missed you guys!
ReplyDeleteScott's is my favorite!! Glad Kim found some purchases!!
