Jackson Hole

Last Thursday after work, Davis and I picked up the Campbells and left town for the first stop on our vacation - The Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway. The hotel was brand new and beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone leaving early the next morning. It was less than 5 minutes from the airport, and it has an awesome tram service in case you want to leave your car at the hotel while you travel.

On Friday, we left the hotel bright an early to catch our flight to Jackson Hole, Wyoming! The Roberts, Griffins, and Grays met us there for our 7:30 a.m. flight. We actually arrived in Jackson Hole about 1:00 p.m., and the boys and Kim had time to ski that afternoon while the rest of us girls hit up the grocery store.

Johnathan found us an absolutely beautiful cabin for 14 people, and we filled it up! Along with us couples, Kim's friends Julie and and her boyfriend Aiden and Aiden's brother Brett and his girlfriend Dani joined us so we could fill the house up!

Maggie cooked us an amazing dinner of Mexican Mac and Cheese, salad, and garlic bread. It was so good and so easy!

On Saturday, everyone got up early (we weren't used to the time change) and go to the slopes as quick as possible. The day was absolutely beautiful, and the skiing was wonderful. We all took a break for lunch at the Peak restaurant at the Four Seasons. I had the buffalo burger that was so different and wonderful!

After our first day of skiing, we all got dressed and explored downtown Jackson. We hit up a store with lots of stuffed animals, The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with its saddle barstools, and ate dinner at the Snake River Grill. We had so much fun, but I'm surprised we all made it home because we were exhausted by the time we made it home!

The next several days were spent skiing hard and crashing early.

On Tuesday, Davis and I skipped out on the snowmobile tours. We had planned to go skiing, but we never could get motivated to get dressed in our ski clothes! So, we headed into Jackson to do a little more exploring and eat lunch. We ate at Billy's Giant Hamburgers, and it sure was a big burger!

On Wednesday, our group was so sad to leave! We had plenty of time to get to the airport, so we stopped at e.leaven for a little brunch. They had so many sweets that I wished I could have taken home with me! If you ever have a chance to eat there, I highly recommend the french toast!

Davis and I fell in love with Jackson Hole while we were there, but it was good to get home to some warm weather! If anyone ever wants to visit Jackson Hole, we will be glad to go with you!
