I loved Maggie's post about all the fun she and David had in 2010, so I thought I might post a picture collage of what we were up to in 2010.
Excuse the long post-I guess we had more fun in 2010 than I thought!
To start to 2010, we helped host a band party in our neighborhood. It was a nice low key way to ring in the new year.
At the end of January, Davis and I joined some friends in Big Sk, Montana, for some skiing.
In February, Albany got a lot of snow one day! This is probably the only time our house will look like this!
For Valentine's Day, we rented a limo and drove to Trellis in Americus to celebrate the day of love with friends.
We attended the Mercer Big Dance with friends and had a blast!!
We had several weddings in the spring of 2010. One was Matt Lane and Kelly Carr's.
For Easter, we enjoyed a weekend at the beach with friends and even got to visit the church where Davis and I got married!
Katie Hughey got married to Crisp Gatewood in April, 2010.
All of our college friends got to together at the beach to celebrate Meredith's upcoming wedding!
During the summer of 2010, we enjoyed lots of weekends at Lake Blackshear.
I celebrated with Meredith and friends at a bridal shower in her honor.
We spent a couple of days in Amelia Island, Florida, for the Georgia Health Care Association annual convention.
Davis and I celebrated the Fourth of July with family and friends at the lake.
In July, 2010, we headed to Atlanta to celebrate Meredith and Johnathan's wedding!
We helped Sally and Ryan celebrate their engagement!
Sullivan turned 4!
Davis and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary at Lake Oconee.
At the end of August 2010, we cruised to the Bahamas with some great friends!
We celebrated my birthday at the end of August and Davis's birthday at the beginning of September (Sorry Davis, no pictures from your birthday).
Davis and I took a mini-vacay in Atlanta to do some shopping and lots of eating at the beginning of October.
My college friends and I went to St. Simons Island to celebrate our third annual Girls' Weekend.
For Halloween, we dressed up like White Trash for Bunko and went to a local haunted house.
Hope everyone had as fun 2010 as Davis and I did. I can't wait to see what 2011 brings us! Stay tuned for a post about our low-key New Years Eve!
What a fabulous year! Can't wait to see what all God has in store for you and Davis in 2011. Love you Jill
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThis is a little off-the-wall but do you have any idea who carved those pumpkins in the pic above? I'm looking to have something like that in my wedding later this year down here at Lake Oconee. The one with the vines is amazing!
Thanks!
Margie
