Atlanta

Sorry for the lack of posts lately!

Davis and I drove to Atlanta this past Monday for the Georgia Health Care Association convention. We did a lot of eating, drinking, and meeting this week!

On Monday night, we had the opportunity to meet up with some of our friends at Coast. It was so good to see everyone and catch up! The night went by too fast as always!

On Tuesday, I had a little time to shop so I hit up some places that I have been wanting to visit -Peachtree Battle Antique Market and 14th Street Antique Market. I found so many things that I wanted!
I love these pieces of art! I have so many places I could put them!
I don't have anywhere to put these, but I thought they were beautiful!
I am obsessed with desk. I would love to have it in my bathroom for my dressing table.
That night, a company took us out to eat at Ruth's Chris Steak House. Of course, I had to have a steak, and for the second night in a row, I went to bead stuffed!

Wednesday morning started my first of two days of meetings. It was a long day! That night, we took two of our administrators to Canoe. It has become a tradition that we do every year at the convention. The food at Canoe is so different and so good! I tried pheasant for the first time, and Davis got his usual, rabbit. Dessert that night was unbelievable. It you get to Canoe, please try the buttered popcorn ice cream with homemade cracker jacks - so unusual but so good!
Davis enjoyed the red velvet cake when we got back to the hotel room!
After another full day of meetings, another company invited us to dinner at Rays on the River. Their seafood was amazing, and our private dining room had an awesome view of the Chattahoochee River. It was a prefect end to a busy week! Hopefully, I can get back on a regular eating schedule after this week!

On Friday, Davis and I drove home to help host a baby shower for Jenna and Allan. More info and pics to come on that soon!
